Reflecting on 2024: How We’ve Seen the Lord Move
As we step into a new year, it’s so important to pause, reflect, and give thanks for all that God has done. In this episode of The Refined Sisterhood podcast, Kait and I take a moment to reflect on the incredible ways we’ve seen God move in our lives throughout 2024. From personal growth to answered prayers, we celebrate His faithfulness and look back on all the ways He’s been at work in and through us.
Looking Back with Grateful Hearts
Reflection is such a powerful practice, and it’s something we don’t do enough. We tend to rush forward, focusing on what’s next, but taking time to look back allows us to see how far we’ve come and how much we’ve grown. As we reflect on 2024, we acknowledge the highs and lows, the challenges and victories, and the moments where God’s presence was so clearly felt.
We share some personal stories and experiences from the past year—times when we witnessed God’s provision, His guidance, and His unwavering love. Through difficult seasons, we’ve seen Him draw near, offering us peace, hope, and strength. And in moments of joy, we’ve rejoiced in His goodness and grace.
The Lord’s Faithfulness in the Ordinary
Often, we tend to look for God’s work in the big moments—the breakthroughs, the miracles, the mountaintop experiences. But in this episode, we also talk about how God moves in the ordinary. Whether it’s through quiet moments of prayer, small acts of kindness, or a subtle shift in our hearts, He is always at work. We encourage you to reflect on the ordinary moments in your own life where you’ve felt God’s presence and faithfulness.

Lessons Learned in 2024
One of the most powerful aspects of reflection is the opportunity to learn from our experiences. In 2024, we both learned a lot—about ourselves, about God, and about what it means to walk in obedience. Through various trials and triumphs, we’ve grown in our understanding of God’s character and His calling on our lives.
We talk about the lessons we’ve learned this year, such as the importance of surrender, the power of trusting God’s timing, and the beauty of living with open hands. Each of these lessons has deepened our faith and transformed the way we approach life and ministry. We hope that as you reflect on your own year, you’ll be able to recognize the lessons God has taught you and celebrate the ways you’ve grown.
Anticipating What’s Next
As we look ahead to 2025, we’re filled with anticipation for what God will do next. Reflecting on the past year helps us set our sights on the future with hope and expectation. We talk about how, even though we don’t know exactly what the new year will bring, we trust that God is already ahead of us. He is working in ways we can’t see yet, and we’re excited to walk with Him into the unknown.
We encourage you to enter this new year with a heart of expectancy, knowing that God’s plans for you are good and that He is always leading you toward His best for your life. Whatever challenges or opportunities 2025 holds, we can trust that God is faithful and that He will equip us for whatever comes our way.
